Picture Overload!

I realized that I haven't done much with the pictures on one of my cameras, so I am just going to post some random ones here! I also realized that poor Colby doesn't have near the number of photos that Chance does. Sometimes it just sucks being the last kid!

Cael's First Communion

On Sunday, May 6, 2012 Cael received his First Communion. It was a terrific day. I also teach the class so this was a big year. We were all a little nervous but had practiced. The kids did a great job and everything turned out great. The church was standing room only. Cael was so excited to see his family there. He commented about how he couldn't believe that all these people (meaning our family and friends) were here for his First Communion. After mass everyone came back to our house to enjoy a meal. We had pork loin, turkey, mashed potatoes, baked beans, corn, pasta salad, chips, dinner rolls, oreo dessert, a ding-dong cake, pound cake or angel food cake with fruit and whipped cream. Quite a meal. Thank you to everyone who was able to make it. Words can't describe what it means to Mike and I for everyone to be there and enjoy each other and to support Cael in this big occasion. I know that the kids had a great time. After everyone left and we had cleaned up, I went to my room to chill while Mike, Nate and Payton went to do chores. I had a huge headache and was so tired by then. Cael came and to check on me and snuggled up with me. It was amazing that he leaned over gave me a great big hug and said "Thank you. Can you believe all the people who came to our house for my First Communion. Wow! I can't believe it. Thanks, Mom". We then enjoy some quiet time while watching a movie. It truly was a blessed day.
